There is no idyllic way to play the game of basketball or put the ball in the net: Talent is talent and at the end of the day, you only have so much say in what kind of talent you have on your team. When you think of the great scorers in the NBA, the first players who come to mind are usually the heliocentric space destroyers (Trae Young and Luka Doncic), isolation maestros (Kawhi Leonard and DeMar DeRozan), downhill gliders (Giannis Antetokounmpo), pick and roll surgeons (LeBron James, James Harden, and Chris Paul), and post savants (Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid).
